St George and Vegas

Nothing like heading South to the warm. We went down to St. George for a family reunion and spent Saturday night in Vegas at Tina's house. It was a good time and Im not going to lie when it was still 99 degrees at 12 at night i was super excited. It was a fun trip however we ran into a few problems along they way.... Getting ready to go.... We got about an hour and a half along when all the sudden we blew a tire! Now not like anything I have ever seen but apparently it's common the whole tire was in to pieces the rim and then the rest of the tire. Well, we only had one person stop to help but he was a crazy scary looking guy so we told him we had help. So that left it up to me and Trish to change it...Thanks Dad for putting me in auto in high school so I knew what I was doing! I am sure it was a sight to see but after an hour we got it taken care of! Good job Trish! and yes of course we got lots of pictures and made fun of by my brothers for "having to document everything". And yes it just so turned out we were both in skirts and heals to make matters worse~

But dont worry at the next gas station we did check the air pressure in the remaining 3 tires and were good to go! After a 7 hour drive to St. George you tend to get a little crazy....And then we finally made it and the next morning woke up early to go get the tire fixed so we could go faster then 65 and got pulled over for an expired registration. The reason we couldnt call high way patrol the night before for help with the tire! He was a cool cop and let us off with a warning!

Thank you to Erica and her friend being selfish and stealing out bed Trish and I got put in a twin bed to share! It was a little squishy a little bit of a cuddle session but we managed it! :)

When we went to Vegas we went to dinner and some how they got the idea that it was Tina and Lindsays birthdays so they brought them over the lovely hats and sang to them. Tina is a little bit of a germ a phobe and had issues wearing the hat! I dont blame her I would have as well you never know who elses nasty heads have been in them!




The six of us at dinner! And apparently when you tell them you want to share and then as for 2 plates it means you no longer wanted to share so be careful or you will get 2 full meals!

Then off to the strip! We didnt take to many pictures but a few... it's crazy how much the econemy has hit things. There way maybe half the people that are usually there but it was still a good time! Jackson was insistant on getting a mug from M&M world so we got sent to pick it up for him! Your welcome Jackson!

The best part was it was warm enough for swimming and a little bit of a real tan! And also served as a reminder that its time to hit the gym a little harder! Tina had the coolest pool at her house it was perfect for a little nap! I loved it!


Talk about the gym, we both have a little bit of a problem, the problem is we like to eat when we travel so we had a little bit of a collection of food! Good news is with all the crap I didnt gain a pound! Dont worry that is only the half of it! Do you remember squeeze pops from when we were little? They sell those again so we had to get one and they are pretty good still.... Straight sugar!

Over all it was a fun eventfull weekend and I cant wait to go back!
